Road accident claims
Israel’s Road Accident Victims Compensation Law (PLET"D) is a no-fault scheme: the injured person claims compensation without having to prove the driver’s fault. The office represents injured people throughout Israel.
What the law covers
PLET"D covers bodily injury caused by the use of a motor vehicle. The claim is usually against the compulsory insurer. Fault between drivers is not the main question for the injured person’s medical and financial heads of damage.
Lost earnings and the wage cap
Section 4(a)(1) of the law caps income taken into account for lost-earnings damages at three times the average wage in the economy. The live Hebrew average-wage page shows the verified CBS figure used for that ceiling. Other heads — pain and suffering, medical costs, help, and future care — are assessed on the file, not on a slogan.

What to keep
