Dog-bite claims
Tort claims for dog bites and other animal attacks: the owner’s and keeper’s duties, medical damage, and insurance.
Liability
Israeli tort law can hold the owner or keeper of a dog responsible for bite injuries, with specific statutory rules. Municipal bylaws, prior complaints, and the circumstances of the attack all go into the file. A home-insurance or business-insurance policy is often the real defendant.
Damage
Scarring, infection, psychological injury, and time off work are documented like any other personal-injury file. Photographs and the ER note from the day of the bite matter more than a later reconstruction.
